Criticism: August 2008

It's been a long time since i updated this thing. And I'm finally back home today but am leaving for KL again in a couple of hours, its Graduation Night tonight. I'm not graduating though.

Like I said before, the new semester has been kinda different. Caused also by the absence of Caryn and Jo. They always seemed to be the controlling ones, in a good way of course =). Apparently weekends are better, but i dont know. Oooh I saw 21 and Forgetting Sarah Marshalls this week. Both very good. I'm so glad i live splat in the middle of 4 cineplexes. All less then 15 mins to get to. Yea!! HAHA. Which reminds me, results just came out. WOW. I saw all the KL people getting stressed up because the got 85 instead of 95...seriously people...what the??? GRAB A CHILL PILL.

I guess my brother is going to Medical College soon. It's really up to him now actually. I think he wants to go to Internatinal Medical University over Manipal. Hmm but i really really hope he goes to Manipal, so that its easier for he's postgraduation.OK he'll get so pissed if he knows i'm blogging about him....so I'll stop here.

(YOUTH SUNDAY '08 Musicians)I've got lots of break time during college hours now that I've finally drop physics, something i should have done from the start! Ooh I've got PJ with me now. (Gosh that sounds so gay) I remember last thursday, the two of us were walking past Petaling Street and I was thinking, how much the two of us had gone through in Form 5. Awkward momments between the two of us that should have ended up in a fist fight if it was any other person. It's like the band is back.We played for BBQ night, with our very attractive lead singer Jee1. She's an awesome singer. BBQ night wasn't THAT GREAT but it was fun. Almost perfect planning by the commitee. Kudos!! (Mel taught me that word, apparently it means good.)Denise and I were the DJ's. Cool huh, DJ D and DJ Cj. ok lame. Anyway she was awesome to work with,the software recomendation came from my cousin Disk. Basketball court became the dance floor! It was too sophisticated for SOME people though. tsk tsk.

Another highlight for this sem so far was going to Pranav's house for his party. It's not everyday you go to a house with a 2 STOREY WATERFALL. Lol...seriously,imagine that. pretty. Oh and one of Pranav's friends got drunk and in his drunkeness became racist. It really was entertaining watching him, till he started wrestling and broke a friend's leg in the process. Priceless momments.

CF CAMP IS ON NEXT WEEKEND!! I'm getting so exited over it. The first ever CF camp in Methodist College. And God has been so faithful. When we first launched the forms hardly anyone signed up that we thought we couldnt even reach the minimum of 44 pax. I remember Rachel and I were so relieved when we got 3o people. And through prayer, the numbers just got so overwhelming. It's touching 70 PEOPLE NOW. YES GUYS, SEVENTY PEOPLE. This reminds me of a playful prayer i once said in Church, all i said was 'God, be real in my life". And i think HE took it seriously. I can now say I've seen God touch lives, especially in the CF committee itself. :) I've still got lots of work though, cause I'm helping Rachel out in the finance.

Dance club has been doing ok. We learned Salsa for the past 2 lessons, and we're moving on to ballroom next week. The Dance club's performance on BBQ Nite was awesome!! A lot of people were stunned. Including our bio teacher, Mrs Sharma. Luckily there's no price to awesomeness or the Dance Club would be looking at a lot. :) Oooh i just received my D'NA form. God willing, I'd go for it this year and graduate. Guess if i was meant to go, I will. Ok.. so DR. House will be on TV soon. I wanna go watch!! Till next time.
